With the motto of “valuing the professional who creates the soul of spaces”, the Brazilian Association of Interior Design – ABD- launches its first exclusive award for Interior Designers, ABD DESIGN AWARDS. The initiative comes at an important moment, where environments have gained an even greater sense of protection and warmth in people’s lives.
According to ABD itself, the award comes to demonstrate to the world the power of Brazilian specialists working in this market, which is already a source of reference for many countries, opening space for the recognition of professionals who are part of large offices around the world.
The award also aims to expand the Interior Design market and highlight those who make a career of translating into art and technique an essential part for human beings: their space.
Entries for the award must be made on the ABD website and take place from July 10 to September 20. The award is scheduled for October 30, in a format yet to be defined. Those interested will be able to compete in six categories: residential, commercial, corporate, restoration of heritage, social design and better use of color.
The winner will win R $ 5,000.00 in cash; trophy; personalized certificate, winner’s seal and disclosure on ABD and its partners’ social media and dissemination channels, and a course in the amount of R $ 2,500.00, which can be online or in person.
